odd as it may sound, i think i like my little Calindas better for my close listening quarters, compared to my big ass KEF 104/2. i think the 104/2 just need more room to breath.
there is just something very special about those Calindas. the T27 tweeters (think LS3/5A), the B200 woofer/mid and the passive B139 oval radiator are incredible. cymbals sounds like cymbals. close your eyes and it's insane. they are very balanced and have no coloration that i can hear. i'm using a Quad 909 and a REL Q100 to round out the bottom octaves.
just thought I'd share. the Calindas are keepers for sure. a greatly undervalued speaker in the world of $1,200+ LS3/5A's.
