I was simply giving this one recording as an example as it is the worst offender in that department I can think of. Most LPs or CDs or SACDs of female vocals have a degree of sibilance on my system. I know that Michael Fremer's review in Stereophile indicated that the Prelude MTS had a slight sibilance. I have added some absorption on the ceiling at the point of first reflection, but it hasn't gotten rid of this annoying artefact.I will try to find a CD that annoys me with its sibilance and listen to it on each of the two systems I have to see if it can be heard on both; not the fairest of comparisons but I can't move the equipment in and out of their present location very easily.
