And NAD C372 or M3. However, you do appear to be describing something that I typically hear in Epos speakers. You might investigate the Era D5s. They're incredibly musical sounding and have surprisingly deep, articulate and precise bass and would be a great match for your amp. Nice silk tweeter. Also reminds me that they sell Musical Fidelity......
