In Reply to: left speaker at lower volume - amp goes into protection - what to do with speaker? posted by MediaSeth on March 29, 2007 at 04:38:56:
I took out the 603s3's and will have them looked at.I hooked up my 302's which were driven fine by my NAD 7140 and even by a Sonic T amp. I hooked them up to the Cambridge 640a2 with DIFFERENT speaker cable just to be sure!!
Now I'm getting three flashes = overload protection. WHAT!?!? I know my connections are good.
Now, I don't know where the problem is again.
Status: NAD C350 - dead
603s3's - possible driver issue with one speaker
640Av2 - doesn't like 302's eitherI don't even know where to begin looking for the culprit and I'm afraid of killing more amps. I'm about to throw all my gear out the window!
