Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Related experience (sort of) - continously variable phase control.

After amplifier in my sub died, I converted it into passive and bought other sub amp, that has continously variable phase control. The impact of that on smoothness of the response is pretty significant, and position that's working best in my setup is pretty far from both 0 and 180 degrees - actually about 75.

But I guess if there's no such option in the sub, then moving it around is the next best thing.
