Has anyone else set up his sub close to the listening position? I have a REL Storm positioned about four feet from my listening chair. The main speakers are about nine feet away. The sub completely disappears and the bass sounds fast and lively. This is probably because the bass wave arrives before the mids and highs on a transient stike. Does anyone else listen like this? Interested in your thoughts.
