Yes, I understand what you are saying. Matter of fact I considered / am considering removing the components and building my own speakers. Both of the KLH towers have two woofers and one mid and one tweeter. The odd box has one of each but also has tuning controls which I have no idea how to use. I guess I reall need a primer on speakers and how to build your own system. I think in the near term I'm going to hook up the two towers (my wife hates how they look, so they wont last long), and just enjoy my new (to me) RtoR deck and my HK730 and just get to know them. Thanks for your input. I would be glad for any guidance as to how to build a speaker, or maybe mount them in the wall or ceiling. Maybe there are some online references. Thanks. Jim
