Howdy-
First of all, congratulations, EPI 100's were and are a very popular speaker, You can find more posts than you'll care to read if you do a search in the Vintage asylum. Secondly, you should make sure that the woofers in yours are correct, and in good shape. The original woofers were specifically designed to play smoothly without the need for any crossover components. Very early versions had rubber surrounds, these may be ok, or the rubber could have hardened. Most had foam surrounds which will have deteriorated by now and will need to be replaced. This is easy to do, but it was also common for people to just toss out the old woofers and just drop in anything that will fit. You never know what you'll find from a thrift store.
Having said all that, These speakers were not designed with tube amps, especially low powered ones in mind. I don't know any sensitivity figures, but the HUMANSPEAKERS site lists the early versions as being recommended for amps from 12-50 watts, and later versions 15-90 watts.
So, you probably won't be filling your room with sound with a SET amp...
