I used an earlier model, the 8200, and it worked superbly. In fact a local dealer who is fanatical about tube amps recommeds SS amps in general for the SP 100 and thinks the Plinius ones are excellent choices. I found the Plinus 8200 definitely worked better than the MF Ac3 combo, the MF A300, and much better than the Adcom GFA 555II. They take several days to tarm up, though, for reasons that are not clear even to the factory, but the effect is obvious.
