You could simply put nylon washers behind every other driver to have an air gap around the frame to mount area. I usually get paid pretty heavy for loudspeaker consulting. Check the V/C temperature. If the resistance is getting out of hand due to V/C heat, the dynamic compression will become severe.Consider this a freebee.
