I've tried it both ways with my KEF 104/2s and Velodyne HGS-15. I prefer the THX setting of passing frequencies below 80 Hz to the sub. It seems to make for greater transparancy. I don't think it's that the efficient 104/2s stress my 250 watt per channel amp in full range; I suspect it has to do with the speaker itself. Why not try both ways and decide for yourself which you prefer?db
