Well, I have no problem buying the Magic Stands if they are as good as claimed. My concern is the discrepancy between what different people recommend as far as stand height goes. The Magic Stands are 28" and that would put the tweeter at ear level in my situation. If that is how JMR intended things to be that's cool. But, I have read several reviews where 24" stands were used/recommended. One user review even references a confirmation he got from JMR through an email that the woofer should be at ear level. Hence the confusion.The other concern I have is that I can't remember seeing the Magic Stands with any footers or spikes on them. My floor is laminate wood over concrete and is not perfectly flat. I need to be able to use soft footers or Superspikes, either 4 that I can adjust or 3 for self leveling. Are the JMR stands supposed to sit directly on the floor without any footers or spikes?
