Hi there,I have a pair of JMR Twin Signatures sitting on some cheap 28" stands at the moment and am looking to get a new pair of custom Skylans. JMR's own stands are 28" high but I have read several reviews of these speakers done on 24" stands and several people have said that it is better to have the Twins woofer at ear level rather than the tweeter (and apparently, JMR has confirmed this to at least one reviewer).
Anyhow, just wondering what others are using for stands with their Twins and if I should go for 24" or 28" stands. My ear level ranges from 36" to 38" usually. 24" stands would put the middle of the woofers at 36". I could get any height I want since I am going custom but since listening height varies for me a bit I wonder if I should err on the low side or the high side with regards to stand height.
Thanks in advance.
Adam.
