I also own the Mk2's. Curious about the differences between the two. I had been in contact with Joseph about upgrade options. I got as far as receiving a pdf of their current price list but they did not follow through with an answer when I requested specific upgrade information.Anyhow, I assume the XL's are also sand/shot fillable. That will take care of the tubbiness problem if repositioning the speakers doesn't work.
