Both being devoted Van Halen fans at the time, one song was all it took!!He wouldn't spend money to upgrade his Bose speakers but we did change the caps and damped the port slot in the same fashion as Fried used in their Line Tunnel loading. He really liked the changes but would always bring beer in exchange for listening sessions at my place :-)
> Another friend heard pretty much the same system as the co-worker and junked his mid-fi japanese electronics/speakers and upgraded to Adcom seperates. He liked my speakers so much that I ended up selling them to him which allowed me to step up in the speaker line so it worked out for both of us. He is now a full blown audiophile :-)
