Home Speaker Asylum

General speaker questions for audio and home theater.

Yes, I surely did

Hi, I listened to the Bachs and Mozarts(both 'Grand' versions), also
at Magnolia and actually liked the Bachs better. To me, the Mozarts
were too midrange forward and brought listening fatigue quickly(I experienced this at several locations). Bear in mind, Magnolia does not always have great set-ups, electronics, positioning, etc. and I have been assured by several that the Mozart is indeed a better speaker, but I have never experienced that, even the previous versions, before the 'Grand' versions when 'Tweeter' carried them, I liked the Bachs better, thought it had a more organic quality. Also, now the Bach is both front and rear ported (the front port is behind the tweeter) and the limited reviews and comments I have seen says this works extremely well. Also, with this dual port design, you can put it closer to a back wall than the Mozarts if needed. Hope this helps.
