My system gets noticeably brighter in the mid and top end as I turn the volume up past "normal" (fairly loud) levels. My room is acoustically treated on primary and secondary reflection points (though IMO not over-damped). Is this normal "room gain" effects" ? I'm pretty certain it's not from my amplifier starting to clip sporadically ...
