Nice post. I like these stories. Mine is about a 60 year old that had Sansui w/Altecs in the 70's. He came over and I played the 2ch Dark Side SACD. He is among the many people that listen to 5.1 most of the time these days. He too was amazed about the detail of the soundstage and his ability to pinpoint locate different instruments. This is so much of what's good about stereo that other mediums can't do.ET
