...the AG1 Alpha Core (shotgun double run). He says this is superb as long as it is four feet or less, in which capacitance is not an issue. Thus monoblocks are mandated. Otherwise he really likes the Audioquest stuff, which is why the crossovers are wired with a section of Sky. I use Discovery Essence, but have not done a heads up comparison (yet) to the Alpha Core. I need to finish my subpanel project first. Richard would tell you he can get and try whatever he wants, and that the recommendations above are what he believes are closest to "straight wire with gain."I should note this information is via my dealer, who works with Richard closely, and the good dealers in California that are very fond of his speakers inevitably end up being Audioquest dealers.
Like any designer with a fertile mind, Richard always seems to have some projects goingas that may revise these recommendations at some undefined time in the future.
