Since this would be a local trade, listen to both and decide for yourself which you like better. What we all think is almost totally irrelevant. It's what you like better that matters.All that said, if the the Vandersteens are the very latest 2 CE Signatures, I think you will find them much more to your liking than the Kefs. I've heard the Kefs many times, and for my ears, they are no match for the 2 CE Sig, just as the Kef 105.2s, at one time contenders for the top level of sepakers in the world, are no match for the latest Vandy 3 Sigs; probaly the latest 2CE Sigs will also outperform them in manmy ways. I still have 105.2s that I bought more than 20 years ago, but I use them for rear channel speakers.
If the 2s aren't the latest model, and you still like them as much as or better than the Kefs, you consider making the trade and then having them upgraded to the latest version by Vandersteen. I don't think you will regret it.
First, though, you must listen for yourself.
