Assuming that you're planning on keeping your Ayre integrated, then active bi-amping is out of the question.Yes, biwiring will make a difference, though I didn't find it was that huge.
If you haven't got a pair of the polymer/concrete bases for the speakers, I'd do that first. In my experience, that made more of a difference to focus and solidity than biwiring.
