Last year, at our local AV Expo, the one stand featured a pair of Spendor S5e's driven by the Prima Luna Prologue Two integrated and fed by some Marantz CDP.
The sound produced by the pairing of a 40wpc (4 x KT88) tube amp and the S5e's was at a level where the system was boxing way above it's fighting weight - and that in a listening room that was far from ideal!
