Even in coaxial drivers with first order electric crossover, the phase of drivers is not aligned. It can be easily demonstrated by playing a tone in the middle of XO region, and moving an SPL meter sideways in front of the driver. The comb effect is so obvious that it can be easily heard. Just move your head side to side.If even coax drivers are not aligned, how could anyone claim that spatially separated drivers are aligned?
