Hi...I have always single wired the Ninka's passive mode; I know
they sound better in active mode(at store), but would there be a definite improvement in passive bi-wiring(the least expensive upgrade)? Some speakers do not benfit from bi-wiring. I originally used them with a Naim Nait but since I use the Nait5 with the Arivas, I now use the Ninka's with the Ayre Integrated---I real surprisingly magical combination, but looking for a more full-bodied sound that the Ninka has not offered with any amp in single wiring. Of course I can try to borrow cables, but the Ayre only used spades and the Ninkas only use bananas, so probably would need adaptors, etc.
