Damaged Triangle ventis 222 tweeters

A child at a party decised it would be a good idea to cave in (dent) the silver sphere at the front of one of my Triangle Ventis 222 tweeters.

If you look at the attached image, the part I am talking about is the silver spherical surface of the tweeter that sits inside the brass tweeter surround.

The damaged speaker sounds fine (after a quick listen).

Is the damaged part just a dust cover? Can it be repaired or will I need to replace the tweeter?

Any help / comments /suggestions are greatly appreciated.
