Nice job.Try doing the water putty tweak, leaving the stock foam, adding a little dacron to the tops and bottoms of the boxes, plus stuffing the ports, and adding a sub.
Also, I'm not usually big on break-in, but they do seem to sound better and better with time. Mine are in suspended animation now though. After doing the above tweaks and running them all day for a couple days, I packed them up temporarily and am back to my regular speakers.
In a few weeks or months when more people have modded them, and perhaps come up with an improved (but cheap) crossover I'll get them back out for more cheap entertainment.
