i own both... box speakers and panelsnothing does the highs like a true ribbon.
not all of my panel speakers are ribbons
i can play some of the box speakers louder (not all of the boxed speaker is boxed) open back mids on some
considered a dedicated sub and your panels ?
what boxed speaker do you like ? (horns/monitors/hybrids)
what equipment was used with the box speakers ?
classical music ? acoustic ? rock ?
