I've just been doing a B&W Google search for the DM2000 - they were $1295 in 1984.. (more expensive than the DM7s? - those RRP were GBP400 in 1978)
Seems some were FS in Michigan a few months back.
I wasn't thinking of your shipping them from the UK!!I dramatically improved the DM7s by modding the Bass/Mid voice-coil assembly (I'd got fed-up breaking them - one hit into the magnet and they'd 'unravel'- my mod (one amongst many..) cured that - and removed the 'coloration' - which I'd spent a decade trying to vanquish!
