Hi, I have a nice old pair of ADS L-810s (the ones with the metal grills) They are pretty nice sounding speakers except for a rather harsh treble. I was wondering if there are any available tweeters that would give a smoother, less fatiguing high end andt would drop into to replace the ADS ones without too much work or permanent modification.Also...
Does anyone know if the wooden cabinets are sealed? They appear to have an oil, maybe oil/varnish blend finish. I was thinking about rubbing some Linseed oil in to them, but that wouldn't do much good if they'd already been sealed.
Thanks.
Benji
