Whats speakers have an immediate, fast/sharp transient type of sound?

Its hard to describe what I am talking about, but with certain speakers there is an immediacy to the sound especially in the drums, with a snare hit or rim shot the sound has a very fast, crisp, sharp or aggressive sound, nt sure exactly how to describe it. But for example the Spendor Sp100's are not so good in this regard while a pair of Jm Labs 936's that i heard were excellent as were the Triangle Celius. It seems French speakers are very "fast, crisp" sounding. I find this osund to be addcitive on heavy rock and metal. What are some other speaker that are reasonably priced say under $3k new that have this sort of immediate, fast sound?? Or is it more of a matter of source and amplification rather than the speaker itself?? If so what is some amps that have this sort of sound??
