If you're in Tokyo check out either Geronimo's or Mogambo, Roppongi bars (near Roppongi crossing, www.mogambo.net, www.geronimoshotbar.com)
PA systems are Tube front end and with active speaker back end; (JBL's) quite "low buck" but a damn good sound nevertheless
Clearly this is the way aheadRegards
