I head a lengthy (3-4hour) audition with these guys at Goodwin's High End in Waltham, MA. I fully agree with your review in its entirity. The best pair of speakers I've ever heard as well, listening to these guys in a well setup system is truly like no experience I've ever had. Before any reviewer uses the word 'dynamics' to refer to a speaker, he must hear these Wilsons, because they define what the term 'effotless dynamics' in a speaker system means. They are a bit out of my price range (I'm 22) but I have my whole life to save up for them! I'm going to move to the Sophias when I get the change, which absolutely give the listener a taste of these crazy X2s. I'm not as big a fan of the WP7s. The Sophias have a more similar sonic signature to the X2s than the WP7s. The watt puppies are more forward in the midrange, which isn't quite my cup of tea.
