I couldn't agree with you more. I appreciate the feedback and am glad that you had better success.It could have been a lack of synergistic combinations, but I think I went fairly far, by using (2) well regarded amps, adjusting and tweaking, etc. to try to get them to "gel". Otherwise I think I can confindently rule out the Capitole or the cables as the culprit as everything is now liquid, coherent and incredibly musical.
