I listen to mine with a vinyl playback system. They have the most to-die-for lucid midrange production of any speaker I've heard. If you're into imaging the Orions will take your expectations to the next level. My room isn't exactly ideal but given the Orions dipole design they still work great. I suggest Tom find someone who has a pair for audition in his area.
