So... where does this leave us? IMO, the Thiels are definitely harder to "get good" (tonally) than other speakers, but they can be very fluid and delicate in a proper room. This is not the best speaker for R&R (natch), but very seductive for female vocals, IMO. Another stupid "In my opinion".... the Krell ain't so bad, it's usually the room and choice of software. Want a smoothed-over presentation? DEFINITELY look elsewhere. Too many variables to be certain...
