I would bet that my Klipsch RF-7's have gotten ripped by people who dont like the Klipsch / horn sound. Personally, I love them, as I have always preferred a very forward, aggressive, bright presentation. But, I really don't lose a whole lot of sleep over what the "press" thinks of my equipment. My mains pieces are a Rotel 991 CDP, Cary V12i amp, AVA T-7 EC preamp and a Basis 1400. Perhaps one of those is out of favor in the "press" you worry so much about! :)
