I dont necessarily agree with your argument considering that the 1.3se goes fairly low (35hz) and you use a sub for bass anyways with HT. The 1.3se needs an excellent amp to bring out the most. The Audience 82 is also an excellent speaker, but not as refined as the 1.3se and it too needs a strong amp.Id go with the 1.3se if you have the right amp.
