If you only visited the shop twice there isn't really any excuse for your treatment at the hands of the salesman/owner, and if there is he can now put his case forward.
Still, his loss is the gain of whatever retailer you will now use so best of luck with your speaker purchase and here's hoping you don't have any problems with your CD player that require it's return to the original retailer.Best Regards,
