Just moved into new home, and listening room has shrunk in size. Never had problems with the Gold i's bass in my old room of 18w x 24l x 10h, but new room is overwhelmed with funky bass (probably now have half the volume).Bass is muddy with very poor definition. I've looked into bass traps, but real traps (not foam) are quite expensive. Thought about stuffing the ports with something, but I'm not sure if that would solve the problem.
Any cost effective suggestions would be very helpful, as I really have enjoyed these speakers and don't want to battle the wife over a replacement.
