Hello All:
I moved to a new house and it's time to tweek the HiFi again. The listening room is 14' x 18'x 8', I listen to everything including home theater. I have a pair of mg IIc's for the front that need the tweeters restrung and a pair of mg 1c's for the rear and an energy ac300 for center, all powered with rotel electronics. The maggies overwelm the room and there is probably not much room for them to breath. I have read the rave reviews on the Axioms and thought of going with M22's for the front and the QS4's for the rear. I love the Maggie sound but I think it's time to upgrade. Do you think this would be a mistake or should I fix the IIc's tweeters and stuff them into a corner? I've had the SMG's and they don't sound as good as the larger magnapan speakers.
