I'd listen to the Green Mountain Audio Europa's. They smoke the big floor standing Paradigms and sell for around $900.00/pr. Cabinets are cast marble, they use better parts than anyone at any price (like audio magic wire inside) and image like nothing else. The designer has a masters in Physics and has done 30 years of research to come up with the current model line. He can be reached at:gma@pcisys.net
Do a search on Alta Vista for "green mountain reviews". The Europa's use the same drivers as the continuum .5 but have a better crossover. You'll find a review on the .5's from the search.
