I had the same thing happen at a B&W dealer: "no you can't listen to that combination!" It caused me to discover Dynaudio. Later I came to find out that this dealer does not like to sell products. They are only interested if you are buying a complete system. The prospect of selling a pair of 805 Nautilus' was an inconvience to them. I learned this from an established shop that has since become a B&W dealer. He told me that B&W realized they needed a retailer that sold things to customers who came in wanting to buy them.
