I've been using the ARC LS-2B MkII for over 5 years. I've been very happy with it. It is a hybrid preamp and uses only one 6DJ8/6922/7308 tube. I currently have a Mullard Master 10M 6DJ8 in there, but any Amperex will also sound good. You can find an used unit on Audiogon these days for about $1000. Amp is Levinson #333.I am looking to upgrade the preamp soon to either an ARC reference 1 or reference 2.
