Howdy,Check out a review of the subwoofer at: http://manuals.harman.com/INF/HOM/Product Information/SV06 SUBWAY SERIES.Q8.pdf
You can also get a sense of its performance by looking at the review of the Prelude MTS, which seems to use the same driver and amplification in a similar configuration at:
http://manuals.harman.com/INF/HOM/Product Information/prelude_review_ may.pdf
http://manuals.harman.com/INF/HOM/Product Information/PreludeMTS_ThePerfectVision.pdfI have the Intermezzo 4.1Ts, which basically use a pair of the 1.2s, and the RABOS system was very effective in helping to flatten out the bass response to +/- 1db on one side, +2/-3dB on the other (started out as +3/-2 and +8/-1). Unfortunately, I am limited in terms of placement options, so RABOS really helped in my situation. I live in a condominium, so I haven't tried to cause any structural damage, but I was rattling windows, lights, mirrors during setup.
I seem to recall that the Revel Performa subwoofer actually uses 3 parametric equalizers for even more flexibility/customization.
Hope this helps,
Young-Ho
