Green Mountain's line starts at around $900.00/pair for THE finest two way speaker I have heard. They are called the Europa's and sound better than you could possibly imagine. The mids and highs are very "accoustat" like, with rich detail and depth unheard in this listeners travels. Bass is fine unless you want it to shake your home (I don't) The companies larger speakers get considerably more expensive, but thats why you rarely hear a truly GREAT three-way speaker: cost.
