Try the excellent selections from Ronnie at www.carolinaaudio.com You'll find he's got some very neutral sounding designs to fit your budget and should work nicely for you. I've heard several of his models and sure think highly of his workmanship and products. I have Fried A/6, which are only available on the used market now. Hope this helps. Happy hunting.
