Hi, would you , if this is not too much asking,give us all more details on your present set-up: what is the brand name of your integrated, cdp, speakers cables and interconnect. This will help all of us to recommended any kind of speakers . I understand your problem about harsh sounding speakers , having suffer from that in the past, and would like to see this little problem being solved and, more important, learning what exactly is causing this. I do remember that a change in speakers cables once did the job for me. Some will add that you add a different coloration by changing speakers cables. It is true, but sometime it may be just what you need. It s like a BBQ party: everyone like his steak cooked differently...Just trying to help and understand, Donat.
