Hello!Depending on the weight of the speakers used:
Find a source of spiral paper tubes 3-4" in diameter
with 1/4" or greater wall thickness. They can easily
be cut and edge sanded to form multi columns. Make platforms
from 1.5" butcher block maple, and add adjustable floor
spikes. Glue the paper tubes to the platforms, and leave
holes in the top platforms to sand fill. You would be surprised how sturdy and dead they can be for
a small investment. They can also be set to custom dimensions
and made to look quite attractive using various wood finishes
and spray paint finishes.Dan
