Use half the money for a DIFFERENT place to live. Any speaker you buy will sound better when the police aren't over all the time to share your experience.
I have a neighbor who stands in the road to see if she can hear mine. Then she calls the police if its audible. I say its rediculous if you can't hesar them INSIDE anyone elses house. The trains make a lot more noise slamming the couplers together at 10 PM and 5 AM.
