The description of how good his speakers are on one hand and how difficult they are to listen to on the other illustrates my recent experiences exactly. It is interesting to see that the usual tube amp, inerconnect
and source replaceement solutions were trotted out. I like the plain replace the speakers solution for the situation described. I do understand that the entire system has to work together and my comments are an oversimplification to demonstate a point.
